Credit Classes in Goldendale

The WSU Learning Center—Klickitat County is the “point of contact” for YVCC credit classes in Goldendale. Please contact the Learning Center if you intend to enroll in Goldendale classes (509) 773-5620. ASSET testing is available at the Learning Center by appointment.

The spring, 2006 schedule includes a variety of credit opportunities available at a distance including; Online, Distributed Learning ad Interactive Television Classes.

Courses are live, on campus courses telecast to campuses at other locations. ITV classes are available in Goldendale.

Students participate in a combination of on-campus meetings combined with videos, telecourse programs, and online learning. Students attend scheduled classes and participate online. All distributed learning classes require additional contact hours beyond those listed in the schedule, so be prepared for additional course hours.

These classes are developed to limit your time on campus as most courses allow you to complete all work at a distance throuth the internet. Activities you may complete in an online course include discussion boards, email correspondence, assignment completion, group collaboration and testing. Some courses require a visit to campus to complete a test or other requirement.

Students with YVCC SID numbers can register online through the online services available on the YVCC website at http://www.yvcc.edu/. New students should fill out a registration form found in the schedules mailed to each household and send to the address on the form.
