About Us

The WSU Learning Center-Klickitat County has three primary objectives:

  1. To make degree programs and credit courses accessible for Klickitat County residents who are time or place bound because of work, family or other commitments;
  2. To increase opportunities for lifelong learning; that is for individuals to continue non-credit, employment and community-related learning, because getting educated once is not enough in a knowledge-based economy;
  3. To improve access to higher education and lifelong learning for those whose participation is circumscribed because of social and economic circumstances.

Our hours are 8-noon, 1-5, Monday through Thursday, 8-noon Friday. We are located within the WorkSource office at 112 East Main, Goldendale, Washington. The Coordinator of the Learning Center is Tim Shatraw.
