Full Immersion Spanish Institute Instructors
Lucero Flores, BA & MA,
is
a native of Colombia. Her B.A. is in Modern Languages (English and
French) from the Universidad del Valle Cali - Colombia. Her MA is
in Foreign Languages and Literature (Spanish), Washington State
University, Pullman. Her teaching experience includes teaching undergraduate
Spanish Language classes at WSU and Spokane Community College as
well as teaching English as a Second Language in Cali Colombia.
She has also team taught Full Immersion Spanish Institute at the
WSU Learning Center in Walla Walla.
Marianela Rivera, BA & MA, is a native of Puerto Rico and has taught undergraduate Spanish Language Courses at Washington State University, Pullman and the University of Idaho, as well as high school Spanish language courses in Moscow, Idaho over the past several years. In addition, she has taught Full Immersion Spanish Institute for WSU at the WSU Learning Center in Walla Walla, WA.
Nan Cuevas, BA. With almost 20
years experience teaching Spanish to many levels from kindergarten
thru college level, Mrs. Cuevas has a very solid background in understanding
how to work effectively with individual adult learners in developing
a useful working knowledge of Spanish language, culture and heritage.
She is a certified Washington State Social Services Interpreter
and our Monthly Workshop Instructor. (Free classes are offered once
a month from September through May on the 2nd Saturday at the WSU
Learning Center in Wenatchee, from 9-12 for all former and
currently enrolled Spanish Immersion students.)
